how do u think i dont believe req 7s drop? they do and i know u need to look in the right place but wht im saying is its a total fluke tht u get one and dont bother all ur time into trying to get a req 7 because u hav slim to no chance ull get one.

Thats why I said it was peoples choices to look and helped them to know where. No ones saying waste all your or anyones elses time looking. However if they so chose to do it now they know the best places and what to look for to have the best chance to do it. Thats all I have been saying and posting all along. Nothing more and nothing less. You cant win the lottery if you dont play. And now if anyone else comes into the forum they can be directed here or if they need they get redirected with the search.

That is tough to do - I can't prove many things to be wrong. Without meaning anything personal (wait a bit before you flame me) I can't prove you aren't an idiot. While I don't particularly think you are, there is no way to prove you aren't. There is also no way to prove I'm not legally retarded either and I'm pretty sure I'm not legally retarded any more than you are stupid- yet stating that I am isn't going to get one very far unless you can prove I am not.
As such, especially if it isn't "common knowledge" (and that isn't terribly accurate most of the time either) they need to prove it. The OP stated something fairly concrete and testable that no one else is privy too and, as such, really needs to prove it. That or they need to add a disclaimer that this is what they *think* to be the case. At the least they need to show that they are mostly correct based on what past req 7's dropped, otherwise it is just numbers they chose at semi-random.
Yet, I do tend to think they are on the right tract. My drops have changed quite a bit since I started farming HM and I have always been the type that farmed steady income (never had the time needed to devote to runs that would pay off in rares). I sometimes found a true rare before but haven'tin a while. Were I to tell you a difference it was with level and the "rare" was on the low end of the requirements. I would definitely say that if level played a part in requirements then I can *fully* understand why we see so few req7's due to HM farming.
I also can't say it wouldn't be "profitable" to farm for them unless you were able to give the requisite amount of hours to find one. If you get one every 2000 hours then someone like me who only has 1600+ hours in game it doesn't make sense to farm them yet people who have played 6000+ hours maybe so (given that bids are into the millions of plat).
Eh, it's not that clear cut. Though, with respect to the quote it is the responsibility of the person making a claim to at least show a preponderance of the evidence. This is especially true if something goes against "conventional wisdom".

If anything I think what Gaile said is more than enough proof.
She asked some person and he said definitely they do drop. Not "They used to drop but they don't anymore"...

Does it really matter? if u get a q7 item good for you.. I dont see why people make such a fuss and go "bla bla bla wrong bla bla bla" and "bla bla bla luck bla bla bla" not like never getting a q7 max is the end of the world..

Well if it helps, i had PURPLE and WHITE r7 max dmg fellblades dropped in ring of fire islands (white one was from spider and purple from dryder). Purple had no initiante modifier however. If item requirement is connected to the mob level, i think your teory is false. (i'm assuming that same rules for base items apply for all item qualities)
This was over a year ago however.

it is connected. You wont find a max damage from a lvl 14 and below and wont find a req7 from above lvl 20 ( minus very very small exceptions) which them being so small a chance it really isnt worth taking a note on them.

If a number of the people working for Anet can come out and say that Req 7s drop, why the hell would you continue to deny it? Sorry to break it to you, but you aren't important enough for Anet to lie blatantly to... so seriously stop with the "or GTFO" stuff :P

Did you miss the point where I said the exceptions? I said the chances of those comming from those higher levels are very very small. Grats on being lucky enough to hit that small chance.

Ok no one is dissagreeing that they drop, we're just dissagreeing with the OP's theory that they drop from monsters lvl 15-19.

Actually, there is very much an argument that they drop. What you may have meant, however, is that no one is disagreeing that they droppED.

the reason that q7 dont drop in hm is because of the level of mobs 24+ and the reason the dont drop off of level 20+ mobs is because the creatures(mobs) do not need that low of a req for a max weapon and the dont off of stuff below lebvel 14-15 is because a creature with a wepon that hits that high would be unfair for you the player

Well, it's debatable. Sort of, not really.

Hmmmmm, because you assume that Anet staff can generate weapons?
I seriously doubt that the designers would allow a character to create a weapon, considering the risk it would create in such an unbalanced economy as GW's that an admin would create an impossible item eg. r6 weapon or alot of armbrances.
/sigh
People will never learn... Economics is just to boring of a course to take in High School...
Anyways, on topic now. I don't understand why so many people are reputing the opinion that r7's still drop post NF. If you would like to get this painful conversation over with get a statement from an Anet staff member and post a link! ( I find it ironic that many people on threads like this do not follow their own criticisms of the OP)
Thanks for reading my opinion and let the responses spawn like jellyfish!
